What domain name servers can I use in the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences?

The Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences manages two internal DNS servers that you can access and use if your computer is connected to one of our networks or you are using UBC's VPN service in the "eos" context.

DNS 1: dc.eoas.ubc.ca (137.82.49.124)
DNS 2: dc2.eoas.ubc.ca (142.103.250.10)

These servers are only available to anyone who is connected to one of our subnets or UBC's VPN service in the "eos" context. If you are not a part of one of our subnets or using UBC's VPN service (eos context), you may prefer to use on the following services:
