You will need the Windows App in order to connect to the remote access server. The VPN is also required in order to connect to the Remote Desktop Services server. It is still required if you are on campus WiFi.

  1. Open ‘Windows App’ and drag and drop the RDP file into Windows App.

  2. Click the ellipses icon and then ‘Edit’.

  3. Select the ‘Folders’ tab and check ‘Redirect folders’ if not already checked. Click the ‘+’ icon to choose a folder you wish to save work to on the RDS server.

  4. Click ‘Save’ to save changes.

  5. You can now connect to the server and your redirected folder should appear when saving files.
