If you are using a standalone version of Matlab and you need to renew your license:
- Open MATLAB
- Click on Resources
- Click on Help
- Hover over Licensing and then click on Update Current Licensing
- Select license 924490
- Update
- Restart Matlab
If you are not able to do it from MATLAB try this procedure:
- Login to MathWorks using your UBC email address.
- Go to My Account
- Click on license 924490
- Click on Install and Activate
- Clink on Resolve Connection Issue
- Click on Activate to Retrieve License File

- I cannot open Matlab anymore so I cannot used this solution: Help > Licensing > Update Current Licensing
- An alternative method is needed for Matlab activation after expiry.
